City Hall of Bat Yam

The New City Hall of Bat-Yam, a mostly vacation town located to the south of Tel-Aviv, represents one of the most original and advanced projects of new architecture in Israel. El nuevo ayuntamiento de Bat-Yam, una localidad vacacional localizada al sur de Tel-Aviv, representa la nueva arquitectura de Israel con un proyecto original y avanzado para su época. The building is in the shape of an inverted ziggurat built of reinforced concrete, cast in-situ and left natural. The stereometric basic element is based on the shape of a cuboctahedron. The building is supported only by 12 columns. All the floors are in reinforced concrete diagonal ribs, 23 cm wide and 37 cm thick. El edificio tiene la forma de un ziggurat invertido y está construido en hormigón armado visto. Estructuralmente el edificio está sostenido solamente por 12 columnas y todas las plantas están construidas con vigas diagonales de hormigón armado de 23 centímetros de espesor y 37 centímetros de altura.
