Throughout its more than 300 pages, it features 22 projects produced between the years 2005 and 2022, most of them situated in Chilean territory. As the authors state in the introductory article of this issue, his refusal to participate in public competitions means that almost all his work comes from private commissions. Without wishing to refute the arguments put forward to justify this position, this situation is decisive when it comes to outlining a work characterised by a strong formal, constructive and programmatic coherence, as well as to the fact that, with the exception of one case, all the projects presented here have been executed or are in the process of being executed. El número 214 del monográfico El Croquis está dedicado a la obra conjunta que desarrollan la arquitecta argentina Sofía von Ellrichshausen y el arquitecto chileno Mauricio Pezo. A lo largo de sus más de 300 páginas, recoge 22 proyectos elaborados entre los años 2005 y 2022, estando la mayor parte de ellos situados en territorio chileno. Tal y como afirman los autores en el artículo introductorio de este número, su rechazo a la participación en concursos públicos provoca que casi la totalidad de su obra provenga de encargos privados. Sin intención de rebatir los argumentos esgrimidos para justificar tal posicionamiento, esta situación es determinante a la hora de perfilar una obra caracterizada por una fuerte coherencia formal, constructiva y programática, así como para permitir que, a excepción de un caso, todos los proyectos aquí expuestos hayan sido ejecutados o se encuentren en proceso de serlo.
