From urbanism to “interiority”: Nuestra Señora de la Luz Church

Protected under the sun, you smile impatiently under the shadow projected by an apartment building, in light bricks, on the narrow street. Facing it, the small villas from the fifties make up a particular urban ensemble, unequal in its scales and ways of welcoming. Some of them wait, abandoned, for their time to turn their dignity into numbers. A brick canvas, in two plans, leaves room for the pavement, in order to show up with dullness, pushed by the shadows of the trees that bring its fade to completion. Protegido del sol, sonríes impaciente bajo la sombra que un edificio de viviendas, ladrillo claro, arroja sobre la estrecha calle. Frente a él, pequeñas villas de los años 50 completan un conjunto urbano singular, desigual en escalas y en maneras de dar la bienvenida.
