In the city there’s a forest, and in the forest there’s a room. En la ciudad hay un bosque y en él una habitación. Illuminated signs fill the streets. Behind them, a starry night over a small living room rises its walls. A few traditional bulrush chairs in a circle furnish the sheltered porch. A balcony opens back again to the city, submerged in the festivities. En las calles, anuncios iluminados. Tras ellos la noche estrellada levanta las paredes de un pequeño salón amueblado con unas sillas de enea en corro; y un balcón abierto, de nuevo, a la misma ciudad, que vive las Fallas. The pavilion reclaims an intimate and familiar space of the popular celebrations of Las Fallas. In between the structure of timber frames that hold the foreground, a hidden chamber is built, of richer finish and domestic character. La intervención reclama un espacio íntimo y familiar en el festejo. Un espacio propio. Entre los bastidores que sostienen la cara visible de la falla se construye y ocupa una estancia oculta, de factura más cuidada y carácter doméstico.
