The Ridolfian cultural syncretism includes features such as the definition of a centrifugal space, naturally lighted up and covered by a roof that resembles a dome made with an origami geometry, and the use of techniques and materials connected to the craft tradition of the site. Fort he Motel Agip in Settebagni (1968), the ten points star-shaped plan is vertically repeated and incorporates a slight turn on each floor that configures to the building the image of a dramatic convulsion. The twisted image of the tower is connected to a series of elevated medieval fortresses in the Valley of Tiber, between Orte and Castel Giubileo. This atavistic image standing as a medieval castle was the reference for Ridolfi for the Agip Motel. Esta imagen obedece fundamentalmente a la expresión personal de una idea y de un estado de ánimo. En el valle del Tíber, entre Orte y Castel Giubileo se desarrollan una serie de burgos medievales arrocados en las alturas; la imagen torsionada de la torre remite a estas imágenes atávicas, erigiéndose como un castillo medieval.
