In keeping with current standards of understanding of nature and the value it can represent in architecture, as a complement to buildings, we have tried to ensure that this house participates as much as possible in the integration of the beauty offered by the landscape. It is located in Sao José dos Campos, along the Sao Paulo-Rio de Janeiro railway line, an hour and a half from Sao José dos Campos, and enjoys an excellent temperature. The building overlooks a steep slope overlooking a large plain where cereals are grown, with the magnificent panorama of the Mantiqueira mountain range in the background. Siguiendo las actuales normas de comprensión hacia la naturaleza y al valor que puede representar en la arquitectura, como complemen- tación de los edificios, se ha procurado que esta vivienda participe todo lo posible en la integración de la belleza que ofrece el paisaje. Se encuentra situada en Sao José dos Campos, a lo largo de la vía férrea Sao Paulo—Río de Janeiro—, a hora y media de la primera, gozando de una temperatura excelente. El edificio se asoma, apoyado sobre una fuerte pendiente, a una gran llanura, en la cual se cultivan los cereales y presenta, al fondo, el magnífico panorama de la sierra Mantiqueira. The project consists of a two-storey house adapted to the slope, with two parallel retaining walls, which run according to the largest dimension. The ground floor is dedicated exclusively to a games room and a small bar. The roof is magnificently finished, with two air chambers: one between the roofing material, made of corrugated fibre cement sheeting and rasilla board; and the other between the latter and the ceiling, made of wood in its colour.
