** Project proposed by Fernando González Piris ** Javier Delgado finishes his architectural degree in 1974. Therefore, he belongs to one of the first generations that, since his educational period, understands architecture as a specific discipline. Javier Delgado acaba la carrera en el año 1974. Pertenece por lo tanto a las primeras generaciones que desde su formación escolar entienden la arquitectura como disciplina específica. When he finishes his degree, he receives his first commission for a family house. The house starts from the juxtaposition of two dispositions. A transverse band of bedrooms that is crossed with a centralized double-height hall, with the fireplace and a central skylight. This space has a strong romantic character in its spatiality and in its constructive fruition where the fire is the heart of the space under a well of light. Recién acabada la carrera recibe su primer encargo de casa unifamiliar. La casa parte de la yuxtaposición de dos disposiciones. Una pastilla transversal de dormitorios que se atraviesa al entrar y un gran recinto centralizado de doble altura, con chimenea y lucernario central, de un fuerte carácter romántico en su espacialidad y en su fruición constructiva, en el que se enfatiza el fuego en el corazón de la estancia, bajo un pozo de luz. With the necessity of articulating both volumes, it appears a syntax and morphological problem. Javier Delgado ends up using a system that would solve this problem. He found the Bay House of Rossi the typology that could help to solve the morphological problems. He encloses the central space with a gallery that connects with the sky but not with the facade and he adds a band of bedrooms that are related with the corridor. En la necesidad de articular ambas disposiciones aparecen problemas de sintaxis y morfología. Javier Delgado recurre, a posteriori, a un tipo que le resuelve su problema sintáctico y morfológico.
