El resultado estético es una consecuencia posible pero no obligatoria.” Within the limitations imposed by the land between medians, it was conceived as a composition of juxtaposed volumes, clearly separating the various functions into independent building blocks, thus managing to perform the work in “stages”. The program, prepared by the design studio, was organized around a room for comedy theater for 1130 spectators on two levels, but with the possibility of adaptation for other types of performances. This set includes a first block, looking at Corrientes Avenue, where seven floors of administration offices, the Ministry of Culture and a micro-kitchen are located on the top floor, followed by a volume containing the two showrooms, with a high block housing the stage, dressing rooms and maintenance sectors, and finally the sector of the School of Dramatic Arts and underground parking, looking at Sarmiento Street, which was built later. In the main façade, on Corrientes, the three halves superimposed in double height were located, two of the rooms and the one of ground floor with the access of the public, conceived as prolongation of the path and continuing in the exhibition hall under the “belly ”Of the Martin Coronado room and between four inclined columns of great section. Two side stairs lead to a mezzanine that balcony to the hall, where exhibitions are usually held.
